I hope this comes up, but this is an email I received about this dude proposing to his girlfriend. He basically takes her to about 12 different rooms that he has beautifully decorated at the Ritz Carlton. In each room there are different family memembers and friends that I guess reads them poetry or some type of letter. It's kind of long, but it is absolutely WONDERFUL! If that's just the proposal I hate to see the frickin' wedding! SHEESH!

Okay obviously I didn't do the link right, but if you have the time copy and paste it to your browser...this girl is going to have a DOOSEY of a story to tell about how daddy proposed....
OMG!!!! I just cried! That was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! Thanks a million for posting.
I know right!!!!! And I think that each hotel room number had a meaning, maybe they were bible verses or something. I would have loved to hear what each person was saying...my goodness....
Me too soon! The pics were beautiful too!!!! I wish I could hunt it down somewhere! Maybe they have a webpage or something. Let me get to searching. lol
MY! MY! MY! is all I can say. Like you Septbride, I cried for her it was so beautifully unique. One of my co workers walked in on me as I was viewing and thought something was wrong cause I'm sitting her in tears (of joy). She couldn't do anything but laugh at me. Usually when she comes in it's cause i'm having one of my moments cause my sweetie has come home for his week off & left to go back to his destination for 5 weeks. He's been doing this for 4 months now & I haven't gotten used to it yet.

I agree, i think hotel rooms maybe in reference to bible verse. What caught my eye on slide show was the titles after each room number and then a differnt color rose. The title signifies the meaning of each rose color. My FI sends me flowers often and this year for Valentine's Day I wanted to do something different for him. Since we're both chocolate lovers I made a bouquet of roses out of white chocolate coloring each the color of a different rose. I made a card with the meaning of each and how it relates to him.

Soontobe, thank you so much for sharing this! It's absolutely beautiful! That guy put ALOT of thought, time, effort and love into that proposal and it shows. I am sitting here crying my eyes out and my sister is looking at me like I'm crazy.
I really wonder about how big the wedding will be though...

That was so wonderful. It is so great to see how much a man appreciates, and loves his woman and go that far, and be so creative.

That man does outstanding work and he has the prices to prove it. However if I had money like that to spend to travel here I probably would.

This is exactly what I thought too sis. The first time I saw it I cried my lil eyes out. Then I was like, "wow... that man REALLY LOVES that woman." It is so very beautifully moving.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way. ~ Pablo Neruda
It was a beautiful proposal!! It's amazing how he did all of that for her!!

What amazes me even more is the "thought" and orginality of this. I think that's where some men miss it thinking it's all about how expensive something is...(even though in this case it had to be REALLY expensive), but I don't think that's what touched me the most. I think I would have felt this same way about this if he would have let's say set this up at someone's house or somewhere much less expensive....just the fact that he decorated each room to mean something, just the fact he had the thought and initiative to gather both families and friends together, had them read whatever dedication to them and pray afterwards....WOW....that's really what blew my mind......
Same here....
That was soooo touching...I'm not sure of what they read to her, but it was something very meaningful because she was in tears by the 3rd room. He should be commended for originality!
For all of you like me that were curious as to what was going on in the different rooms here what I ahve found out. This was sent o me at work today:
He asked all of his nearest friends and his parents and his
girlfriends
parents to come into Atlanta and he paid for all of them to spend the
night at the Ritz their in Atlanta. He told his girlfriend, who is now
his fianc
Southerngirl.....
Thanks for sharing the details. I still can't believe the best proposal i have ever seen or heard of happened right on my wedding day. Love was really in the air that day.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
I cry and get goosebumps just thinking about it..............loved it tooooooo much.
Oh My God.....that was awesome. The love and the commitment he has to her is wonderful. If he did all of that to ask her to marry him what won't he do to keep her happy and if she is smart she will get on her knees every day to thank God for showing her such favor. I hope that God continues to bless them.
Happiness is only a prayer away!
