Since June is almost over, I figured that I should start my blog now.
I'll start it off with a big Praise report: I just came from the bridal salon and had my first fitting. 1) The dress is now officially paid for! and 2) It's too big and they have to take it in! Hallelujuah! That is great feeling!
My sister was supposed to be taking pics so if I can get some from her I'll post them later.

Girl, isn't it a wonderful feeling when they say to you "hmmm, looks like I'm going to have to take this in some". Makes you think that all that dieting was worth it.
post some pics soon when you have them. And don't think b/c the dress' being taken in that you've lost enough weight to stuff your face again. Take it from me. She pulled that crap on me 2. Girl, I came home & ate some oxtails, rice/peas, plantains, etc. Then had nerve to wonder why the dress didn't fit next time around. :-)
Congrats on paying off the dress. I know that that's a burden lifted off your shoulders.

MrsR, you are so right. I lost 2 sizes over the past couple of months. I almost lost my mind. I acted like I lost my mind...eating like crazy. Well, when I went to take engagement pics, I've almost gained 1 size. Now, I have get back on my grind and work harder.

You never lied.
You know how you are supposed to have whatever lingerie/undergarments with you when you go for your initial fitting, well keep in mind that when losing weight and having alterations done on your dress, you will also need to change whatever undergarments you originally bought. I went out and paid a little over $100 for a nice lace bustier/garter belt set (of course it cost more becasue it was considered bridal) that I had on for my initial fitting and by the time I had my second fitting, the bustier was no good. It didn't hold, support or lift anymore and I had only lost about 15 pounds since initial fitting.
Just giving you something to think about.

Thanks Pam for the advice. Such a waste of money. I won't drop another inch after the first fitting.
Pam it's very true! The bra that I had on fit fine when I bought it but now it feels a little big. I guess I need to get another for the next fitting.
