My church home moved to a new location a year ago. We bought a church with a school (I think it was an old Lutheran church and school). I am having my ceremony in the santuary. I am also having a cake and punch reception in the fellowship hall before moving on to a banquet hall.
Here's my issue: The fellowship hall was the school gym. The 1st lady already had beautiful Venetian blinds installed to cover the windows (they had cages on them). Problem is there are still a basketball rim on each side of the room. I need ideas to cover them up. I was thinking about balloon towers extending from the bottom of the rims to the floor. To cover the backboard I am thinking of using a posterboard with our monogram and a nice border.
Any other ideas?

Girl, it sounds like to me like you got it covered. I think that's beautiful. Let me see if I can come up with something to top that.
I think your idea is very creative. You could also try wrapping the rim in tulle creating a "bucket" of sorts and then have lots of low hanging flowers cascading out of it. This wouls also work well with your monogram poster board idea.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
I am loving the idea as well.
