Prayer request and rant! lol

Let me give y'all the back story:

My brother and his girlfriend moved out of the house (seperate house)
right after graduating from highschool (literally within like 3 days of graduating). This has been the cause of much distress because our families did not believe they were mature enough to move out and live together.

In the past his girlfriend exhibted behavior that showed she CANNNOT handle stress well (for example if he did not kiss her in the hallway at school, she would call our house and would spend half an hour screaming at him, etc.) She was in a foster situation with her mother, (her mother is retarded) where the person that was supposed to her support was using the foster money to buy herself fur coats, figurines, cars, while the girl and her mother didn't see much of the money granted. His girlfriend is not able to hold down a job because she can't handle the stress that comes with the enviroment at work. That said, when they moved out and on their own it cause a huge deal of distress to us.

My brother loves this girl to death and will listen to her without thinking too much about he consequenses. With that in mind they moved from the burbs to some really violent projects because she believed it would be safer than another project. They had many ups and downs because of their lack of maturity and now she is pregnant with twins. My brother was going to technical school to be an automachanic and dropped out within two monthes of graduation because his girlfriend had a lot of morning sickness. (Not severe morning sickness just so she was throwing up everyday and she didn't want to be alone)....

Sunday

So I'm teaching my class yesturday and got to talking about how things may look bad but God is always in control and we will not be destroyed. My church is small so everybody knows my brothers situation and so I shared about how their situation looked bad but how God uses situations like his for miracles.

Imagine my complete shock when one of my students pipes up and says "My mom says those kids (the twins) will be stranger than he is"...The devil is a liar! I went on to teach them that is not nessarily true and talked about how Jacob had done many bad things in general and how Joeseph, his son became a ruler of all of Egypt because of God....

However, my flesh and my spirit were on the battlefield for sure! The first thing I thought is I should pray for this girl's mother that she would not think such things, teach her daughter such things, and that God would heal whatever it is in her heart that made her say something like that in the first place. Then my flesh was like "OH NO SHE DIDN'T AFTER SHE BROUGHT A SHOWER GIFT FOR THEM!!!!"

I mean we are all in agreement that this does not look good but God has a was of turning some mess into a miracle. The stuff this woman said is how enemy gets into the church and starts breaking down relationships! I'm only 23 and the girls mother is 40ish and is a pastors daughter. She should know better!....My feelings were really hurt so i'm teaching a lesson about gossip next week. I refuse to let kids in my care think that that behavior is okay.

Whew!!! Again, sorry that was so long and please keep my brother and his girlfriend in prayer. Thank you all for reading this long thing!
