Hi everyone, I am new here and I love reading everyone's post!!!! My FH and I decieded to pick a special place and marry with 2 of our best friends in tow. I could not stand the idea of planning a full blown wedding...we both have huge families and trying to accomadate everyone was unrealistic. We are planning a reception and that is enough to drive me crazy. I do have one issue. I am a minister at my church. Do I put my title Rev. on the announcement or do I leave it off? This is a huge debate for us...please help!!!!

Welcome!
I think that its your choice and you are not required to do it one way or another. Not putting it or putting it (The title) is not considered inappropriate:)
On of our mottos here you'll see a lot: "Your day, your way!"....Nothing more, nothing less.
We've been Happily Married 2 Years and Counting:)

Say it Bumblebeekee, your day, your way!!! Why don't people just get that through their heads instead of ALWAYS having something to say? Now watch either way you do it, nhamer615, SOMEBODY is going to have something to say about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome and congratulations, nhamer. I say use it. When people go to medical school they are proud to use that "Dr." If I were a Reverend I would want people to know that I'm bringing my accomplishment into the union as an assest and a blessing, but that's just me. Bumble is right, etiquette dictates either way is appropriate.
Well that settles it, I am using it!!! You guys are great. I will fill you on all the drama as it unfolds.
