I am having 2 ring bearers, but I went to a wedding where they had 2 little boys that were the criers. It was too cute :) They came running through with their little bells yelling "The bride is coming, the bride is coming"! I had never seen that before and I was pleasantly tickled by the concept. I would go for it if that is what you want.
My cousin had this at his wedding and I thought it was so cute. My niece Tahira wants to be a part of the wedding, but she's too old to be a flower girl (she'll be 10 and the 3 flower girls will be 7) and FH has put the breaks on me adding anyone else to the wedding party (we each have 5 attendants) so this is a way for her to participate, and I think she'll really appreciate being the center of attention for that moment.
My daughter will be 2 and I want her involved so I made by son the broom bearer and her the bell ringer (town crier). They will come out right before me. My son will escort her down the aisle saying "Stand to your feet! The bride is coming!" while she rings the bell. We will have a backup wagon with dragging bells attached just in case she gets stage fright!
My daughter (the flower girl) will be our crier. After she's up at the alter, she's going to yell "The bride is coming, the bride is coming, she's really here! There bride is coming". After which, my mom is going to stand, signaling for everyone else to stand.

I am having what I call " Heavenly Angels" skip down the aisle, yelling the bride is coming. The girls will be dressed in a white dress and have angel wings on.
I didn't buy the bell yet. Don't know where I'm getting it from yet either! I want to have it engraved so she can have a keepsake from the wedding.
Didn't think about that. What would she be pointing at? The entrance? She is such a drama queen anyway, so I don't think she will need to point. lol
Yes, the entrance and when she says "She is really here" you should open the door if there are any and there you are. Okay ,I am about to cry. Since she is a drama queen it will be even cutier I am sure she will be very dramactic(spelling) about it.

That is so cute. My flower girls will be wearing white with angel wings (and a halo at their request). Them little chicklets decided that they did not like the wings I orginally picked out and they wanted to wear either a halo or a tiara. So the "compromise" is that they will wear a halo at the wedding, but I have to buy them tiaras also.
Where are you getting your angel wings from House?
Sheawil, thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to think about it after I mail out these invites. lol
House, girl, I know what you mean about driving the parents crazy! Up until about 2 Christmas' ago, I had to tell family and friends, "If y'all buy one more toy that makes noise, you're taking it back to your house!" lol They got the hint. lol And the ones that didn't, I buy their kids toys that's more noisy! lol

No problem! I am guilty of the noisy toys thing too. I don't have kids and I think I am still a kid at heart so I just take my cursing out like a woman. I know payback is going to a......
I have trained my son. He opened a remote control truck at church for Christmas and asked the person that gave it to him "Are you sure this doesn't make to much noise cause if it does it will stay in the box or I'll have to take it to my nana's house."
That's right baby, that's right. They told me I should be ashamed of myself! Well, I'm NOT!

Here are some angel wings I found while surfing the net:

Those are so pretty, but I don't think the FG will like them because they are similar to the ones I picked out. I might just say forget it ang get them the ones I orignally picked out. They are cute and they only cost 7.95 at oriental trading, so I might stick with that. I wanted to see if you found a good deal on some wings.
What do you ladies think of this, and are you having one?
