We are planing to elope in two weeks. So I am all nerves. We plan to get up early on Friday, get married ( his mom will be our witness and our only guest) and then run off for a honeymoon! It will just be a weekend and we will text and call all our family and friends from the road!I am all nerves. So we are getting a license, rings, and clothes. We have already booked the trip. Do we need anything else? And he told two of his friends which I think ruins it! Just ruins it!

Well, if that's what you want to do, then I'm happy for you. I don't want you to do anything that you would regret. The most important thing darling is to do you. Be happy with your decision. I don't want you to feel cheated in any way. You can always have a party later, just be sure that it's what you want and not what you feel that you're reduce to doing.

LOL, oh its nothing like that. We are going to have the big party but want to go courthuse now. I just think eloping is romantic. We asked his mom because she will be so excited!

Congrats, Michelle! Eloping or keeping it simple can be a great alternative to keep the stress at a minimum. I'm very happy for you. Are you going to have a cake and a photographer too? Where are you going on your honeymoon?

It is so wonderful that you're able to make your FMIL a part of your civil ceremony. I'm sure she was thrilled. How would your family feel about it though?

We are going to the courthouse in the morning. I will change my name and things like that before we get on the road that evening for a weekend "mini-moon." Believe me I plan to spend the trip planning our formal event!

the beach and i got a bottom to go with my two piece top to waddle around the beach in. We are staying at a nice resort and the package comes with a dinner coupon. Our reception. LOL. It is jus that now with theconomy and all I cannot see parting with any of my savings to even put a deposit on a hall or photographers with a baby on the way so I am going to continue to save and pay for my dream event slowly.
