Hi ladies. Does anyone know where I can get a great body shaper from. It has to be stapless and plus size to go under my wedding dress. I want something that will shape me up and look smooth and a lil slimmer. I have been lookin around on the net a little, but havent found to much. Thanks for your help ladies. Most shapers they are making these days don't hold very well.

Good morning MsNene,
A great body shaper cost a little, but have you tried Spanx. My friends say they're pretty good, eventhough I haven't tried them myself. Also, David's Bridal has great body shapers. They're on the pricey side, but totally worth it. I don't know of any online companies that sells them, but you might try your luck with e-bay.
Good luck to you sister.
I definitely like Spanx!
You can find a similar product at Target, but I forgot what its called...
I don't know how soon your wedding is but I would wait until after the final fitting to buy one...I bought the strapless girdle thingy top for my wedding dress, but my dress had a corset and after the alterations, weight loss, and all I needed was the strapless bra and the stockings...so whatever you do give yourself some time!

I also recommend SPANX. This is the one I recommend:
Hide & Seek Hi-Rise Body Smoother
My Spanx
It has 21% spandex compared to the 13% spandex in the Spanx shaper called "Higher Power"...and it's available in plus size. You can order from their website or amazon.com You would wear your long-line bra over it.
Due to the A-line style of my dress, and long-line bra, my seamstress told me that I didn't need it although I had already purchased it. I do wear it with other dresses, skirts, and pants though. It's the most comfortable shaper I've ever owned. It's important to buy your correct size whatever one you buy, though, or the bulges will be sticking out here and there and won't look smooth.
You can select your correct size by clicking on the size chart and comparing them to your measurements. This is how I selected mine and it was a perfect fit.

There is also something like spanx called Lipo in a Box, I love both of them
Msnene,
I have been looking all over for one as well. The problem I have with ordering online is taking a chance on how it will fit. I need the extra suction, "you know what I mean". LOL
I heard about Spanx from two of my church members. They seem to love them and have convinced me to get some for everyday wear. But I'm going to take Ginoue's advice and see if I can find one at Davids Bridal this weekend. I don't mind spending the extra money if the fit is good. So I'll let you know.

Spanx are perfect. and if you don't want to order online they sell them at the Avenue and Lane Bryant as a matter of fact they were on sale for 40% off at The Avenue. My aunt told me about it and she said she racked up.
I also have the one from David's Bridal but I much prefer the Spanx better. It may be because of the fit the reason I don't like it. So like VIPrincess said definetly get the correct size it will make the difference.

The name of them are called ASSETS
Thanks...Assets work good too. I have a pair of the ones that stop below the knees. I use them from time to time too. They just smooth everything out. Even when you lose weight its still good, because it just smooth you out. Spanx, Assests, all of them...!
