Has anyone seen this new show on TLC (The Learning Channel)
It's so funny and cute the way they get wedding parties to perform songs for the first dance instead of the traditional first dance. If me and hubby had more time, we might have done something like that. It looks like fun!
The show comes on tonight at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
Would any of you brides-to-be do something like that?

I don't think I would dare. I come from a very European background and my family is very proper. It does sound different, but I'm still looking to pull off a very classy, yet ultra formal type of wedding.
No. It's not for everyone. I've seen a few of their shows where the people weren't very good dancers. But some of the other wedding parties are great!...and the whole thing comes out very nice. I don't think I'm good following dance steps. I'm more freestyle. The most I could manage for our reception were the "Cupid Shuffle" and "Cha Cha Slide Part 2." :oD

I just watched it for the first time. It was cute but I don't know if we would go that far but we are doing a traditional first dance with a little spice here and there.
