Addition to wedding ceremony

Hi ladies, here we go again. I have 4 BM, 2 JBM, 1 MOH, 1 FG, 1 bible carrier and 5 GM. This is more than what we wanted but I'm cool with it. Well I just found out yesterday that my two sister 13 and 14 wants to be in the wedding. I'm not sure what to do because I really don't have nowhere to put them but it wouldn't be right if I didn't have them in it. Please help any suggestions?

Maybe they could be hotsesses if you don't have any??? That way they would feel like they had a special role in your wedding.

I thought about that. But my sisters are from NY they might not look at hostess as being something special.

Maybe you can have them read a poem or bible verses.

Re: Addition to wedding ceremony

I created a title for my daughter (16). She is too old for a junior bride. Too old for a flower girl. I had my sister and best friend as MOHs. I wanted her to stand out and feel special. I created the title "Princess Brides Maid". She wore a different dress from the other ladies, but was in the same color scheme. She felt really special and that was my way of working that out. Perhaps you could make your sisters princess bridesmaids also (or some other title that you come up with). They can come down the aisle alone, and perhaps the two of them can wear the same dress. If you choose that route, I'm sure they will love it. Good luck and keep us posted with what you decide.

DaughterRhonda that sounds a good idea. I only have one brother so I am going to have him walk me part of the way to my dad. Maybe I can come up with something where he can walk my two sisters one on each side. Thanks

Great idea Rhony!

I think it would be nice to have your brother walk your sisters down the aisle.

Another great idea from, Rhony! :-)
I thought the cut off age for flowergirls was 10. Depends on the girl (height & maturity level) If she thinks she's too big to be the FG, then there's your answer!

I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.

Thanks ladies! I agree with Cinny (age 10), however, it is totally up to you. For instance you may have a tiny 12 year old who may not mind being a flower girl.
