OKay, I am having my own share of stress right now. I mean really. But, one of my BM told me today that she was doing her own hair for the wedding! Am I tripping? I mean, hell, we're not going to the club or to a party. She's not just attending the wedding, she's in it! Am I wrong for feeling this way?

No you are not wrong for feeling the way you do but what is her reason for wanting to do her own hair..money?!?!?!? time?!?!??! is she a hairstylest? I think more info is needed about her to make a sound decision.

IMHO you have every right to feel the way you do, afterall, it's you & fh's day. And unless she specializes in hair do's (and i'm assuming she doesn't since you made the statement about it not being a club)my request to her would be to have it professionally done so that all will be on one accord.

Does your bm do hair for a living? When she does her hair do it look nice or does it look like she put something togethor?

Good question....
Southerngirl.....
You have the right to have things the way you want them, but maybe there is a legitimate reason why she is going to do her own hair. If it's money, maybe you can offer to pay for her hair. If she just wants to do it just because, then that is a different situation. If you give us more details, maybe we can give you better advice.
Her reasoning is because a bun is something that she can do herself. About 2 weeks ago, she, another one of my BM and myself went out to eat and she had her hair in a bun. I don't remember the bun, but I do remember I complimented her on it - so it must've been nice. I'm going to have her do a "trial run" and see it again. She's not a beautician but she's okay when she does hair.
Hey Askalot, you are not wrong for feeling that way. You know the ViBride motto "your day, your way!" That includes hair!
