Ladies,
I need encouragement. Originally my wedding was scheduled for Sept. 2, 2006 but now(after prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit) it's getting moved back to either late April or early May of the same year. Honestly, I'm nervous about this. I truly am a planner and probably a control freak who likes to know how everything is going to be in order. I have a hard time of letting go and realizing that this is not working just by my schedule. So I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm unsure now that I'm not dictating everything. Does this sound selfish? I'm beginning a new job in a few weeks and there really is no problem as far as budget. We're actually downsizing since we moved the date up. It's not that I'm not ready to marry him. I really love him. I'm even having trouble picking spring colors since I'd had fall colors in my head all this time. What's wrong with me? Any advice would be helpful.

Be comfortable with yourself. Do not get pushed into a date you are not comfortable with. Until you mail the invites you have all the time in the world to set the date. If you think God is who made you bring the date back, then why question the Higher authority?

i am with Rosetta on this one; deep breaths, be still and the answers will come to you. If God is leading you, you know He is gonna take all the way, the right way, at the right time!
don't sweat! What are the spring versions(lighter shades)of your of your original choices?

marquita Go to as many bridal shows as you can and see if you can get show deals on your wedding items now. Buy things slowly but steadily until your big day. Most brides spend a lot of time dreaming of their wedding and not actually purchasing until 6 months before. THis gets very expensive and I don't have to tell you that often as not they won't get what they really want because of time, money or availability! Soooooooooooooo GET CRACKING. LOL
