Born Blessed!
Well, I guess it's official, I'm old! I remember ALL of that. I remember getting a four part spanking on my way home for cutting my eyes at on of my elders at the grocery store. Four grandmother, three smacks on my butt, and then there was my grandmother! The fate worse than death! BUT, those WERE the good ole days. I wish we could get a do-over.
Living my life like it's GOLDEN!!
Ooh, that was definitely a reminder that times have changed. I really wish we could "do over" I remember all of those things and I'm 30.

Hey Niquey, I'm the boat along with you. I remember everything. We didn't play red rover. We played 4 square when it got dark. Remember having to be on your front by the time the street lights came on?
I remember that. It was either be on the porch or get the you know what embarrassed out of you!
Another memory I have - mommy went out and told us not to leave the house...well being children we left the house and went climbing a raspberry tree - oh I enjoyed picking those yummy berries but 15 minutes later mommy came back driving thru the corner....needless to say, we got beating so bad I still remember the pain from time to time and that was more than 20 years ago...see in the Bahamas it is not illegal to beat children so you know we get our hip tan pretty good. ha!
