Hi ladies,
I apologize for being so late with this, but I wanted to tell you all about my AWESOME bridal shower my bridesmaids threw me last Sunday, August 19th. Girls, it was SO special that I just cried and cried after I finished opening my gifts and thanked everyone for coming. I am SO not an emotional person, so everyone was shocked to see ME crying, but it was just such a beautiful day. The food was amazing and the gifts I got were SO nice. They purchased so many items from my registry that I had to go add some more stuff so folks will have things to choose from for wedding gifts! The cutest thing they did was compile a Recipe Book for a happy marriage. Each guest wrote out their happy marriage recipe on a recipe card and then I read a few out loud. They presented me with a cute red leather recipe book to keep them in.

That's terrific. Maybe with both showers, you'll get all that you've placed on your registry and nothing will remain for you to purchase afterwards. Congrats!!!
I'm also having a shower at the office. Due to the fact that I will be moving to MD in December to join my FH, the ladies at work decided to throw me a shower in late October. I'll post pics for all to see.
My other bridal shower is scheduled for early July,2008.
