Bridal Party Procession

Good Morning ladies,
I was wondering if anyone had ideas as to how my bridal party could enter the church? I've seen a lot of weddings where the groomsmen, met the bridesmaid mid way in the aisle and presented them with their bouquet, but I've seen that way too many times, I want something a little different, but still elegant. Please help

When I was in my mother's wedding the groomsmen came down single file or paired up (dont remember that part) and then the ladies each came down alone, due to having an uneven bridal party. Then on the way out, the best man escorted 2 of the ladies because she had a Maid and Matron of Honor.

Or have them meet at the entrance of the aisle and have the GM bow to the BM and she curtsy to him in the entrance way, then arm in arm down the aisle.

I had all the men (including DH & BM) walk down the isle all in a single line and then the ladies all came down the isle 1 at a time

do you have the music already selected for them to walk down to? maybe that will help stir up some ideas.

The music that the bridal party will be walking to is "So High" by John Legend.

acreech can you describe your church so we can get a visual? Are their stairs they can come down, or different doors they can enter from?

How about having the GM come in and stand in the aisle. then have the ladies come in, weaving in between the GM until they get to their guy, and then they all walk to the alter.

Ok - that din't even make sense to me! Let me see if I can describe it better.

Men walk in and stand in the aisle 2 or 3 pews apart.
1st lady comes in, walks to the left of GM in back, to right of GM in front of him, to left of next GM, etc until she gets to the GM in front. Next lady does the same. When the last lady is out, they all walk to the alter.

Hope that made sense!

The church is very big. It does not have a center aisle. It has two aisle divided by a set of pews in the middle, and pews on both sides. I want to utilize both aisles, so I can speed up the procession. My wedding party is pretty big.

Oh Shy, I love the Bow and Cursty part as well. Would love to see both ideas incorporated somehow. It would be wonderful. Think about it Acreech.

I have a bit of the bow and curtsy in my wedding as well. As the bridal party dance down the aisle and my dance concludes with the parent presenting the Bride to the groom, as my FH comes to claim me and I'm presented to him, he shall bown above my hand as my hand is extended to him and as he reaches and hold my hand in his, I shall curtsy deeply, he will come closer to me to raise me from the ground and together, we will walk the rest of the way down the aisle.

Re: Bridal Party Procession

Good Morning ladies,
Again thanks for the ideas, please keep them coming. Now I thought about this one lastnight. Bare with, and try to see the vision. Okay, what about have the GM's enter the church in two lines carrying the BM's bouquets. Once they are at the first pew, they will turn to face one another. With the bouquets in their hands after facing each other, they will raise the bouquest slightly in the air to form a arch, all accept for the very first GM. He would be standing with his bouquet in his hand ready to meet the first BM and present her with her bouquet. Let me know what you think, don't worry about hurting my feelings. My time is winding down.
