I know the feeling.My wedding is in December and I had my dress ,BM dresses,FG dresses and all the accessories since April.I feel as if it is taking forever.I booked vendors since last year and have secured them (well those who would accept deposits) ages ago.Bought raw materials for caterers and sent the perishable stuff to them,so that when the day comes they will provide perishable stuff since May.Finally finished writing up invites today.Now it is just a waiting game.Now I am looking forward (not) to making the money to finish pay for the day.Talking about Burnout....HURRY UP WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!
WOW, you ladies are no joke. My wedding is June 2007 and I thought I was moving too fast choosing a photographer, florist and my dress now. I was putting it off until a few months from now. I guess getting it out the way is the best way to do it. I would love to have everything done months in advance. I was worried some of the vendors would close shop or something like that. I guess I'll follow your leads and get to booking. Thanks --

YOU ARE WELCOME. I JUST KNOW HOW HECTIC IT GETS. FH DESERVES A BEAUTIFUL DAY AND I FELT THE ONLY WAY TO COME CLOSE TO THAT IS GOOD PLANNING. WHILE I WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE, I KNOW LAST MINUTE IS WHEN THINGS GO WRONG. SO I FIGURE THE BEST WAY TO AVOID THAT IS TO START EARLY. WE BOOKED VENUE, HIRED PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER BACK IN FEB.-MARCH. ORDERED DRESSES IN JULY AT THE 1 YEAR MARK. ALSO BOUGHT SIGN IN BOOK,UNITY CANDLE, AND ALL SUPPLIES FOR CENTERPIECES. JAN WE DID BOUQUETS AND THE BROOM. WE FIGURED IF WE DID SOMETHING EVERY MONTH, WE WLD NT PUT A FINANCIAL STRAIN ON OURSELVES. SO NOW WE JUST PAY EVERYONE.

The wedding is not until Sept. 1, 2007. However, I too have started buying things and putting them. I was happy with an outside, but I kept having this dream that the weather wasn't gonna cooperate. Anyway, I wasn't gonna be satified until I found a place, where if the weather didn't permit an outside wedding, I could do it indoors. And then it happen Wednesday I came up on a Golf Course and Country Club. When I told the FH he said baby you don't have say no more thats it. Now I'm getting burned out about how the music will be played because there is a noise ordinance on the Golf Course. I MUST have music. HELP!!!!!
You dont have to have the music so loud that it will interfer with the players. Just play nice soft music, such as jazz. Play it loud enough so your guest can hear it.
