Re: Butterbean's Blog (featuring Dallas vendors)
I just had to post this picture of me and my family that I had found on my sister's MySpace page. It's by far my favorite! We were in Jamaica in the Dunn Falls at Ochos Rios about four years ago.
VIPrincessBride,
I've batted my eyes and got FH's mind open to wear a tanned suit. We went shopping yesterday and found some cute ones in a shade darker than the ones your groomsmen wore. He looked very handsome in it.
Butterbean, I am soooo happy to hear you were able to work your mojo, because the idea of them in black tuxes at an informal outdoor wedding.....girl...it's just so much nicer in those lighter colored suits. The sun won't be beaming on them so much either. I'm sure they'll look very handsome. I'm glad he was able to listen to reason.
That's a gorgeous picture at the waterfall. I love it!
Re: Butterbean's Blog (featuring Dallas vendors)
Awww. This was the wedding dress I fell in love with when I started looking. I just cant see myself paying over $500 for ANY dress. I remember that this dress cost well over a grand when I researched it.
Re: Butterbean's Blog (featuring Dallas vendors)
ummmm not sure what i think about the heel stoppers. They are functional but not too cute. When you get them, post a pic of them with your shoes so we can see how it looks. Who knows, you might be on to something.

Re: Butterbean's Blog (featuring Dallas vendors)
Heel stopers are practical, but not very attractive. Your gown is long though and chances are, no one will notice them. Question though, what made you want to get them? Just curious.

Butterbean girl I say get you some rhinestones or pearls and bling those bad boys out! LOL! Put them on right before you walk and take them off as soon as you're done with your outside picture-talking.
Re: Butterbean's Blog (featuring Dallas vendors)
Speaking of bling....I'm in LOVE!
Heel stopers are practical, but not very attractive. Your gown is long though and chances are, no one will notice them. Question though, what made you want to get them? Just curious.

My gown is only knee length, so I gotta have cute shoes. I'm also trying to have my cake and eat it too by opting for heels instead of wedges or espadrilles. I totally forgotten about how heels and grass doesn't mix, so I looked these heel stoppers. I don't think that they will be noticable when I wear them in the grass. I'm going to order a pair for a test run. If all fails, then I'll shop for some *sigh* wedges.
Re: Butterbean's Blog (featuring Dallas vendors)
..Or you get some sort of wooden plank, cover it, and set it down in the middle of the aisle. That way, you won't sink in the grass when you're walking.
Re: Butterbean's Blog (featuring Dallas vendors)
Love the shoes. See, now that three votes for doing the wood board under the aisle runner. A board from home depot wouldn't even cost much either. Is just your ceremony outside or is your reception also? If your reception is outside also, I can understand why you would be hesitant to do the board thing.

Butterbean, what do you think about these.

Found them on shoepavilion.com for only $65.95. That's a little cheaper than the shoes you posted above and I think these are more sexy, a nice compliment to your dress.

I really like the Stuart Weitman Oboe bridal wedges on that website you posted butterbean. They are absolutely gorgeous. But OMG the price tag on those bad boys, $312.00 !!! I couldn't imagine paying that some shoes.

LOL! Depends on how much one would pay for shoes. They were about $140 I believe. I'm a shoe FREAK, I'll pay top dollar for a shoe before the outfit ...LOL To me -the shoe makes the outfit ...
My cousin and I were talking one day, and she was like ...I have never paid over $100 for shoes. I couldn't believe it. But it'll all in what you spend your money on. Like I refuse to go out I pay $20 a day for food (when I have food at home) ..for breakfast then lunch at work, but that's just me. I would eat before I come to work, pack lunch ..put that $20 up everyday and on friday ..go shoe shopping! LOL
Re: Butterbean's Blog (featuring Dallas vendors)
$140 isn't so bad, they look more expensive than that. I'm a shoe freak also, sorta like Carrie from Sex & the City. It really is all about the shoe...LOL I think the most I ever paid though was $225 for a pair and that was for some riding boots.
