my fh and i have done so much planning for our wedding ceremony. we have family and friends coming from out of town, my bms are buying their dresses, etc. the wedding is november 17th but we want to get now, like this friday. i'm just afraid it will take some of the spark out of our ceremony if we do so. do you think we are just overly excited and should wait or go ahead and be spontaneous?

NONONONONONONo!!!!!!!!!!! Sweetnlow74 don't do it. I know you are excited, but hold on. I think you may regret it if you don't have the wedding that you have been planning and anticipating. That day will be the most beautiful day you have ever planned along with the memories.

i agree with the other ladies..you have come toooooo far to jump ahead now! 1 month 4 weeks and 1 day is all you have to hold on...I think if you do it prematurely it is not going to be as special
I agree with the other ladies. Stick to your planned date. I know you're excited but you'll have more time to add the extra touches to your ceremony. Also, think about the others who are involved or anticipating the ceremony. You have family and friends coming from out of town (and some may have had to take time off. Personally, I would be upset if I requested time off in advance to attend a wedding; only to find out that the couple spontaneously eloped or pushed the date up at the last minute). I know that this wil be YOUR day but I think it will take away some of the magic. Just my opinion...

I have to agree with the ladies on this one. While most of the excitement lies in the fact you and your FH will finally be joining as one, the other part of the excitement is having all of your friends and family there to witness this joyous occasion. I am also very excited to see all of my hard months of planning come together, so I think waiting will definitely make your ceremony and just your overall day more exciting:)

In addition to what everyone's already stated, I remember thinking of the doing the same thing myself. However, there's nothing like that feeling when you hear the pastor say "I now pronounce you man & wife". Don't take away from that moment, by being too excited.
