It is fine that you are having your reception in your church hall. That is as it should be. About music play whaever you want, just make sure it is a clean version as well as a clean song. Like you don't want to play the Whisper Song by the ying yang twins. [lol] Think top 40 radio versions of songs. Your dj will know what to do. DOn't sweat it. You could throw in some good church songs in the first hour and more secular as the misister has left for the night. Just remember to be tasteful and have fun!

The Whisper Song by the Ying Yang Twins, oh my goodness that song would definitely give the church mothers a heart attack or a stroke or both. Ya never know though cause if the church mothers are anything like Medea or Big Momma (Martin Lawrence), they will get up and work it out on the dance floor (lol).

Rhony we have quite a few of those church mamas here too! [lol] My 21 month old daughter LOVES the whisper song. It is so humiliating. She can't talk but the minute it comes on on the car radio she is whispering and bobbing her head! Lordy.I have to use church pimps Charley! That is HILARIOUS! We got us some'a dem too!
