Okay ladies so ordered the invites a while a go and recieved them and they have our previous wedding date on them. I REALLY don't want to spend another almost three hundred dollars on invites...oh and response cards.
How can I change the date on the invites and response cards without looking ghetto? I was thinking about getting the same colored paper and hand writing in gold ink, the new dates.

Wow Abeni! this is a hard call...I don't know what advice to give on this issue... :(
This is a tough one Abeni. I'm really not sure how to advise you on this one either, other than to say to look into cheaper options for a second set of invitations. I know you don't want to spend any more money on invitations, and you probably really want the ones you already have, but I'm not sure how to correct the date on the invitations you already have and still make them look presentable. Maybe the other ladies will have a solution for you Abeni!!

Sorry to hear that Abeni, this one is a doosey. You can try it out to see how it looks. Do you know an artist that would be willing to do it for you?
You may just have to knuckle down and spend the money. Ladies, maybe you guys can use your creativity to come up with a suggestion that would work for Abeni. All the best my sister.

I had the same problem...I ended up ordering a new invitation from the company I ordered my save the date postcards from...they turned out great..better than my original invitation...try not to get discouraged....get CREATIVE!!!!

My 1st thought was to use stickers with the new date - but I don't guess that will work. Do you have a picture of the invitations? That may get more ideas flowing.
If I was you I would contact a printer and see if he could change them for you. Someone who does invitation printing
