Hi Vibride ladies, it's me again. LOL.
Has there been an item (or anything associated with your wedding) that you regret or regretted after you spent the money? If so, what did you do? Did you keep it and justify the cost or did you take it back? Please share. I'm in the justification stage.

Not that I can think of (Thank God). I guess thats why we have been thinking and re-thinking things before we buy to avoid that.

We ordered extra food and paid for extra tables/chairs, expecting stragglers to come, but they didn't. All the money that was spent was justified, and I don't regret anything. I mean, I'm glad I had more than enough vs. not having enough. Thinking about it now, I would've done a lot of things differently. However, what's done is done and I'm so happy its over.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
Delight yourself also in the Lord & He shall give you all the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4
So far, the unity candles that I have. FH doesn't like them. So, being that I can't get my money back, I will have to buy new ones.
Nothing yet, however I will keep you ladies posted.

To answer my own question, I doubt my dress expenses.
I paid more for my dress then I was expecting too, but I don't regret it because it is "THE DRESS", I don't think I would have been happy with any other choice.

I'm already advertising the gown on other message boards being up for sale after the wedding. It's making me feel better that I think I can sell it and make up for at least some of the $$$.
I plan on selling my dress back after the wedding also. It's is absolutely gorgeous and will serve no purpose sitting in my closet forever...

Exactly! I just hope someone my size wants it along with the additions I added to the dress (i.e. 3 bustles)
From time to time, when I think about it, I feel like we could have spent more on the wedding in Orlando cause I think now it may not have been so bad. I can't imagine it being worse than this. Alot of stuff would have already been done like decor, flowers, music, food, etc. And the only other vendors would have been a photographer, baker, and MAYBE a DJ. The hotel (for a small fee) would have handles everything else. We are saving like 4000.00 based on the quote-But at this point its hard to tell with all the extra stuff. I guess it balances cause we have spent $$ on building our home at the same time.
So you always have to weigh the pros and cons.
