Ladies I know we all have dreams of our wedding day and everything is so perfect right? WRONG! I had a wierd dream about my wedding last night I am so horrified of it. Now I can barely remember what happened but I know it wasnt good because it woke me up from a deep sleep.I old FH about the dream because I woke him up tellin him what he better not do. The part of my dream that I remember is...It was the night before the wedding and all my ladies were at my house.We were all acting silly and doing each others hair.Well Somebody burnt out my hair completely!I started acting crazy and we was tryna find a wig store or something t hat could cover my nakked head. We finally found a beauty supply that wa open and I bought some tracks for my head. I got them glued on and everything was cool...Until the minister said you can kiss the bride and FH held the back of my head and the weave just slid off. I was so mad! I ran out screaming and rushed to my grandmothers house to hide (which is 2 blocks away). When I got the courage to come back I went to the reception and it was HORRIBLE! I didnt recognize the room at all.It looked like something out of a domonatrics film/porno tape. That was supposed to be FH's way of decorating the place.
I remember there were no flowers for me to hold..eveybody had bouquets but me.I had to toss my own rose petals becasue the Flowergirls didnt wanna wake up.My FH was dressed like Flava Flave with that big azz clock around his neck and a big grill......I just woke up mad......Fh said I was yelling at him and all he could do was agree at the time. He could tell I was getting paranoid and having a bad dream.

Yeah, that was funny! I've had several weird dreams about the wedding that have just about made me sit up in bed. In one, my dress was basically a satin slip. My best friend and MOH took one look at me and said "You're pregnant". Then, I got makeup all over the front of the dress. In another dream it was the day of the wedding and I was about to walk down the aisle then I asked "Where are the bridesmaids?" And someone told me, you forgot to ask anyone to be in the wedding. Then I was trying to find the photographer, and they said oh you forgot to hire a photographer. LOL!! It's normal. I think it's our minds still going over those small details even while we're asleep.
I wouldn't worry too much Allies! I must say that your imagination works overtime in your sleep - LOL!! -- Flava Flav, girl I almost fell out my seet laughing! I only had one weird dream pertaining to my wedding. I dreamed that my pastor showed up two hours late for the wedding and refused to marry us! Girl I was crying when I woke up. Then I remembered that my pastor is not marrying us (I am getting married at another church and my pastor has given his blessings to my fiance and I). I realized that it was just a dream.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one....I know it's funny but I was scarred. Imagine the man you're going to marry looking like Flava,You would be screamin at him too! I think I should stop all wedding planning at least and hour before bed becasue when I dont my mind goes into overdrive.
Allies, I honestly think there is no way to avoid it! Even if I haven't done anything pertaining to the wedding all day some how I have a dream about some aspect of it or about something that I need to do for the wedding! Girl, one of my dreams was so bad that I tossed and turned woke up crying. I dreamt I got down the aisle to the alter and no one was there but my husband and the preacher. I asked where were my BM's & GM and they said that the coordinator forgot to let them come in. Then husband and I started fussing because when the soloist was singing he left me standing at the alter to go stand in front of her to fan her and he was saying"gone girl sing that song". I went and snatched him and told him he better not ever walk away from me again and we argued in front of everybody. Now that was a true nightmare. Worse, than Flava Flav! lol

I keep having the same reoccurring dream. It is not a bad dream> It is that when It time for me to walk in the hall is nothing like I have decorated the night before. I had another wedding dream last night. I dreamed that I had forgotten the bridal party's bouquets. None of the bridal party had on the dresses that I had chosen for them. During the processional, there were waiters carrying trays of food to the guests at the same time the bridal party was walking down the aisle. I had left the music for the ceremony at home and we had no music. I was screaming and yelling because it was mass confusion. OMG, it was a mess! What a nightmare!

Okay, I haven't responded to this topic yet because I have many, many, many dreams (bad ones) about the wedding. But, I have to tell y''all last nights. It was the day of the wedding and NO ONE had flowers (me included). It wasn't that the florists didn't deliver, it was I FORGOT TO ORDER THEM. It was horrible, then I woke up.
I know for a fact why my dreams are coming. I am such a procrastinator! I wait until the last minute to do EVERYTHING. That's why I started so early planning this wedding. I think my dreams are just telling me, don't slack off! I hope that my day is PREFECT.

Askalot, my dream was similar to yours. I don't know why I'm having these dreams as I am almost done with my planning, but it just feels so awful after waking up having a dream like that. I agree with TajMom, it is probably from the stress of planning a wedding.

But, that's the thing, I'm not stressed. Yes, a majority of my day is spent thinking about the wedding or planning but I'm not stressed at all. Even in college, when I had term papers due, I would do it two days before they were due. I think it's just a sign for me to stay on track and don't stray! lol
I'm not stressed either and I still be having crazy dreams about the wedding.I saw Flava Flave last night and IT WAS CRAZY! The girl really dd cop a squat on his floor..and stairs too...but she "manned" up to hers and admitted she did it.I dont know if I coulda done that on national t.v.

One night I woke up in a panic about my dress...it was taking a long time to be shipped. I called and woke my FH up at 3 am and told him that we would go to the store first thing in the morning to nut up on the bridal store. He decided to pray with me because I was tripping out so bad. The bad dreams happen at least once before the wedding.

Ladies, I had a dream last night that I was looking at another site location. Is this a sign to plan a indoor wedding as opposed to outdoors (wedding and reception will be held together)? I am so adamant about having my outdoor dream wedding. Does anyone know of someone that was rained out? HELP!!!
