Engagement/Anniversary/Cocktail Bling

I never really researched rings too much. I think my husband did an excellent job. However, I've recently come across a style that I think is quite beautiful. What do you ladies think?

The first is a prong setting with pave diamonds around the center stone and antique style milligraining in the metal.

The second is a bezel setting with pave diamonds around the center stone.

I never really liked a bezel setting before, but with the pave added, I think it's quite lovely.

I know pave is quite popular. However, I haven't seen too many with the pave going around the center stone. Also, imagine a colored stone in the center. Wow!

Beautiful rings! I have not seen to much of this style until my best friend got engaged. Her ring resembles this style except hers is a double band connecting to the center stones. If I described it well enough to picture it

I'm a huge fan of Peridot, I would love one on a yellow gold version of that ring. But enough about me. hehe...

The best colored stone for that ring would be a tanzanite. That would be hot.

that tanzanite is the bomb!! i love it!!- But how would one coordinate that with their wardrobe every day? I think I would become obsessed for a while..with everything blue

Really? Peridot is my birthstone, but I've always preferred red stones to green stones. Tanzanite is a great purplish blue stone. When you get into the blues, it starts to resemble Princess Diana's engagement ring that she picked out herself:

I guess it coordinated with her blue eyes.

I know what you mean. I think that's called a split shank. I have one on my engagement ring. Yeah, I like those the best. I like a wider band.

I like this one too:

I like that it still has the diamonds going around, which makes the center stone appear larger than it is, with the smaller side stones.

It has a beautiful shape.
