A friend of mine recently called off her wedding, the ceremony was going to take place in August. Everything has been paid for and the vendors are not giving any money back per contracts. I know someone who owns a consignment shop and is willing to sell all the gowns in her store so the bride could get back some of the money that was lost. Would it be in poor taste to suggest that?

Re: Etiquette

That sounds good to me. Ask your friend what's the worst she can say "NO". She could also donate the gowns and get a tax right off for them if she wants to go that route.
