As I've stated b-4 my wedding will be an African Themed wedding. I'm having trouble finding the right dress for my flower girl. Since my bridesmaids will have an African something to accent their dresses I want my flower girl to bring together. I want my guest to be blown away. BUT I don't want my family member to have to spend so much money on a dress that their daughter will only wear once or twice, if that. Could someone guide me in the right direction?

Do you know anyone who sews? Hit the fabric store, by some kente print for the bodice of her dress, and make the skirt the color of your gown (white or ivory?), or just get a her a plain dress and use kente accents (sash, bows or rosettes).
Living my life like it's GOLDEN!!
You know I hadn't thought about that. Thanks I'll give that a try.

What great ideas! Why don't you go all out with your flower gitl and choose all african dress? She can be bare foot and have a headdress on. Have her toss the flower petals High in the air like you are a princess. You can even consider having her in bare feet with jeweled toe rings and gold arm bracelets.

All these are great ideas, I love the bare foot ideas, and I think that your flower girl would love to throw the petals in the air instead of the floor

Rosey I think that idea is absolutely fabulous....the little girls would love the idea of dressing like a grown up with the jeweled toe rings and gold arm bracelets.
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
