I wore Chanel #5 for two reasons; 1.It was my grandmothers signature scent 2.It's a classic. I think it's important to wear whatever appeals to your senses.
There are only a few that I give to my brides: Coco Mademoiselle, Lalique, Vera Wang, and this one is actually a baby cologne and it smells so clean and innocent I picked it up at Sephora, Musti. But like Babieluvbug stated, you have time to check some out :)
I don't think i'll be able to wear a (perfumed) fragrance...My FH & my mom have serious allergies. That would be funny though...having them sneezing at the alter (j/k) My shower gel & lotion will have to suffice.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
Delight yourself also in the Lord & He shall give you all the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4
I would suggest trying different fragrances to find what works for you. A fragrance that's good for someone else will not necessarily be good for you because of the different body chemistries. I wore Bora Bora because it was the perfect fragrance for me -- a subtle fragrance without upsetting my allergies :-) or anybody else's.
One of my favorite fragrances is Philosophy's "Amazing Grace". Everyone in my home has allergies, but this fragrance has passed the allergy test and no one has had negative reactions to it. It is a pure, soft, clean scent. You don't want anything to be overwhelming.

What are the best fragrances for weddings?
My king...Behold our Kingdom!!! (Akasha to Lestat-Queen of the Damned)
Vera Wang is the best one I've sampled for the big day. But you have time to check out lots of fragrances.
