My name is Pam and I am 40 years fabulous and embarking on my second marriage. I am a widow who was married for almost 10 years until my Husband was murdered in a home invasion. I was 27 and the mother of a six month old little girl.
Fast forward to now - met a most wonderful Brother on Blackplanet (no kidding) and we got engaged in June and will tie the knot on January 20th in Vegas! We chose Vegas because I really didn't want the pomp and circumstance, and Vegas just spoke volumns about our relationship and the way we live our lives!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! Well we are up in the air about that. I'm still struggling with why I got to send out all these darn invites when I know half these folks aren't coming, lol lol. I will make a decision soon. I'm having an engagement party, two showers and a bachelorette party, lol That I know.
We also in tribute to technology helping us meet have secured a live webcast of our ceremony - that way everyone can share in our joyful moment from the comfort of their own home.
So far through word of mouth I have 31 people coming which to me is pretty good! I guess the surprise will be who will RSVP and be like Heck Yea I'm coming it's Vegas Baby!

Wow, that is a really nice idea to have a webcast of your wedding! You did good to have that many people say they are coming! You will have to be sure to let us know how we can view it also.
