No my friend it isn't a must. In the beginning I was going to do one, but I have decided against it. Love your reception site, girl they seem to have it all covered!

Girllll..please send me a piece of that cake!!! We don't really have those up here in the North.
Yeah I am surprising him with a choclate grooms cake. I think I will do an 8 or 9 inch cake, and then a mini-cake for him to have for later. WE are also having the caterers set some cake for me and FH aside in case we get caught up with guests and not have much time to ENJOY the cake. She is also doing the same for our meal. She said that she was glad she did that for herself because even though her and hubby ate, they were so busy they didn't remember how good the food was...until they sat down later with their plated meals AFTER the wedding....we will have this included in the contract:)
I am definitely surprising my husband with a grooms cake here are some that I like:

Here are some more ideas, I hope I did it right! I cant seem to get it but the website is thebakeshoppe.com. Look under grooms cake. I love the cake that looks like a grill.
I am almost postive that he is getting a groomscake. He loves comic books so I am trying to decide what character to get. My sister's friend bakes so I have it covered.
FH is an artist (Shona Scuplture)and I wasn't sure at first but i think i'll surprise him with a cake in the shape of one his favorite pieces. He'll be shocked.
Here's a potential groom's cake In the shape of the emblem, though & it'd be chocolate (his fav)...If Dolphins don't start winning games, I might have to get a Miami Heat cake instead.
