We are considering Hawaii as a honeymoon spot. There are so many different islands, im not really sure which one would be best.
IF anyone has any info regarding which areas are better than others I would really appreciate it.
we want to go somewhere that has a good beach....pretty good food and Live Night life...
(gotta have a few nice clubs)

I've been there and I absolutely loved it. My only piece of advice is if you go to Hawaii, you need to spend at least 10 days there. From NJ it was an 8.5 hour flight. I'm assuming it would be about the same for GA. The 12 Hour difference will take a lot out of you. If you only go for a week, you will waste 2 days flying and 2 days adjusting to the time difference. As soon as you get adjusted, it's time to leave again.
I went on a high school trip so I really can't tell you about night life sorry.

Truly awesome. I've always loved Hawaii and it certainly looks like you had a lot of fun there with your new hubby!!!
Congrats 2bmrspotts. What island(s) did you go to. I am going to Hawaii for my honeymoon in July. We're going to Honolulu, Oahu for 6 nights. We didn't know which island to pick, but we chose Oahu because apparently its the "heart" of Hawaii, and the Honolulu airport has the most direct flights in and out. It seems like a good (expensive) choice. Do you have any hints/recommendations??? Was your week long enough to do everything you wanted to do? Do tell.

OMG Mrspotts you went parasailing!! I would have had a heart attack way up there like that. Whew, my heart beating fast just thinking about it. I would have asked DH if he took a life insurance plan out on me already if he suggested that. I am scared to death of heights. More power to ya girl, waaayyy to much adventure for me. Snorkling looked fun though. That I could do.

My mom took me as a graduation gift. We stayed for two weeks and on four islands, Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island, Hawaii. By far my favorite was Oahu followed by Kauai Big Island and Maui. I thought Maui sucked, with the exception of Black Sand Beach, which is a mission to get to but well worth it and Lahaina (Shopping District). Oahu was easy to get around, the beach was super close and plenty of shopping-you don't even need a rental car-unless you plan to explore the whole island. Overall the experience of just being there was fantastic, but the time difference threw us off for about a month after we got home. You at least get there once in your life! Oh before I forget Hawaii is a super expensive spot- back when I went a gallon of milk was $5! No telling what it's up to now...make sure you take some serious cash because it's not a spenders paradise.
