Hi Aaliyah. Not sure if I welcomed you before but if not, welcome to the sisterhood. Do you actually have a fall theme in mind for your wedding OR are you saying that because your wedding is in the fall, the colors don't fit? Also are you getting married October of this year or next? You stated 2008 but it sounds like you have really nailed down your colors yet which makes me think you may have meant to say 2009.

Welcome to the board Asliyah. Use whatever colors you want regardless of the season I say! I used red and gold for my August wedding which everyone said was fall or winter colors. Oh well. It came together beautifully!

If you are getting married October of this year you def have to get on the ball! What do you have done and what to you need to do? I helped a friend plan a wedding in 3 months so I'll do what I can to assist you as well. Just let the sisterhood know how we can help!

Okay you don't have much time but like Shy said, it can be done. We still need you to clarify whether you were looking to actually have a fall theme, you know, like fallen leaves, leaf motifs,etc.

How large is your wedding party? Is it small enough where you'll be able to make an off the rack purchase? Hopefully with such short timing you won't have to order anything.

What colors ar eyour invitations? you can choose your BMs colors based on that. Will they get ready made dresses? Mos bridesmaids dresses can take up to 3 weeks to come in if you get them from a bridal shop sometimes. As for favors you can look at what we have to offer at The VIbride Wedding Mall. Most ship right away.

If you can't find any dresses off the rack that you and you BP likes you can try these immediate delivery dresses:

I think they have specific sizes though. I know they have specific colors.

What style of programs do you want to do. You can always purchase kits from Walmart, Target, Michaels, etc. Also there are several templates available to download for free. Try this site:

For favors have you thought of anything in particular? Does your wedding have a theme? A candy buffet is an easy favor.

For your cake have you checked some of the supermarkets in your area? I know someone that used Publix and their cake was gorgeuos (wasn't at the wedding so I can't tell you about taste). Also if there is a Walmart SuperCenter near you they make wedding cakes as well. Bakeries usually don't require as much notice as other vendors so you should be ok. Don't dilly dally too long though!

Welcome to our sisterhood. My sisters have given you invaluable advice considering you don't have much time. I agree that it could be done though, if you buckle down with it. Take MrsKeepUp's advice, you won't go wrong. You really don't have the time to order your BP's gowns if it'll take at least 3 weeks. Then you have to consider alterations when you receive them. You need something quick and fast. Have you visited David's bridal in order to get your Maids fitted? it would make it so much easier on you if you knew their exact sizes.

Rosetta mentioned your the colors of your invitations. That's a great place to start. How will you decorate your reception hall? What colors are your tablecloths and chair covers/sashes, that will help in narrowing your BP's colors as well.

Keep the details coming so that we could all pitch in and help as much as we can.

Also if you go to David's Bridal and they dont have the dress and another store does, they will ship it like that rather than having to wait for the dress to be made
As Mrs Keep Up stated, I also did my programs through Target/Walmart, they have the some of the same program cards.
For your favors how about CD's made up of you and FH's favorite songs? or go to your local dollar store, they may have some nice favors. I came across some very nice one in my area, of course after i made the purchase. But the Candy Station is also a great idea!

Do you have a "theme"? Not that you need one. But what decor are you using, I think someone asked before about your invites? Are you having a reception ..with linens, centerpieces etc ...what colors did you use for those things?

well great! no theme just season so you could definetly do the tiffany blue! other color(s) were you thinking of using?

Wow Aaliyah, you only have a littil over a month. What city are you in? maybe some of us VI SISTAS have some contacts or may even live in the same city and can lead you to some people and places that can assist you in a hurry.

Welcome my wedding was a similar Tiffany Blue with Teal for my wedding I had one of my girls in a dress that had both colors in it but I really like the red and Tiffany Blue combo.
