Ladies, I don't understand why I seem to keep having all these issues and I'm about to get married less than a week. My dress don't fit, One of my dancer dropped out, it might rain on my day and keep in mind my wedding is outside my flower girl will not do anything durning practice and now I think I'm about to get my period tomorrow which lasts about 4 to 5 days. Does anyone know if there is a way stop it or shorten it???????????????????

First off, let me say that I am sorry that so many things keep coming up. Secondly I have to say that this must marriage must be what GOD wants you to do otherwise the devil would not be so busy! OK, don't worry about the flower girl , just keep practising with her and if she does not throw her petals then there is NOTHING that you can do about that. At the end of this you will still be a beautiful bride and you will still get married. Now on to the dress, I think you told me you were in Atlanta and if so please go see Holly at Buckhead alterations, now she is a little exspensive BUT she is the best I have heard nothing but good about her and she is altering my dress ( pm me for the info) and at this point you don't have a choice but to bite the bullet and try and get your dress fixed, the only other alternative is to go to Natalies bridals or Davids and try to buy off the rack ( you will stall have to have the dress altered) Lastly, I belive that you can stop or delay your cycle by starting a another pack of birth control ( if you are on it) don't take the sugar pills, take the regular ones you would take everyday and the hormones should stop it... I hope I could be of some help, remember that although we want and work for a beautiful wedding it's really not even about that it's about the marriage ( at least that's what I have to keep telling myself LOL LOL LOL LOL )

I've never tried this because I don't like taking pills, but one of my co-workers spears by it. She takes either Naprosyn or prenatal vitamins both to shorten it. Google both before you try to check for allergies. HTH

You need to breathe!!! All of the things except you period are under your control.
Have your dance with the dancers that are left.
Your flower girl if she is 3 or under they are tempermental is goes with the territory. Just in case have someone standing at the end of the isle hold a lollipop to entice her down the isle.
If you can go to David's bridal and get a sample dress or rent one. See if you can find your dress for rent. If you can not find someone that can help you fix your dress. At this point it does not.
As for you period I don't lmow what can shorten it just for this time.

KMED, the Ladies are right. Just Breathe!!!As for your period, you say it lasts 4 or 5 days. There's a possibility that it may be over by your wedding day. I', not sure about stopping or shortening it but I will look into it. God Bless and remember, the sistas will keep you in prayer.

Girl you will be fine, dont let these things worry you. All of these things seem very minor to me, and all can be corrected. I am decorating a wagon for my daughter who will be three when my wedding date arrives in the event she decides not to walk down the aisle. My older daughter was in a wedding and at the practice she refused to even attempt to practice, but on the wedding day she walked down the aisle with no problem.

Thanks ladies, for all you advice. I am really trying to hold on. I woke up this morning in tears because the weather channel said it is going to rain on Sat. so now I have to find a back up plan. This is crazy. The only thing I can be for sure at this point is that GOD is still GOD, he is still in control and his will will be done. I just need his strength to get through this. I can't wait to marry the man I love and want to spend my life with. I just would love for things to just go right.

Trust and believe God through all things. As for the rain, it could hold off until your wedding is finished, or it could rain right up until the time and stop. You just continue praying and believing God. He's able...this is EASY for Him. As for you flower girl, just in case she does not walk down, I've seen it where some brides never had flower girls, they got their hostesses to give a couple of the guest sitting at end of the rows some flower petals...and before the bride walked in...those people scattered the petals on the ground..from where they sat..it was actually very pretty how it was done.....maybe you can think of that as a backup....You said you can't wait to marry the man you want to spend the rest of your life with. Keep that in mind...that is the most important thing...as long as you and him are there....you wedding day will be BLESSED!
KMED, there's a possibility that the FG was probably just "cranky" when you did the reheasal. During the reheasal for my Brother's wedding, the mini-bride and one of the junior groomsmen cried the whole time. But, the day of the wedding, all of the kids were cooperative and "all smiles".

I think having a wagon as a backup will help as HW147 is having. It's a cute idea, then lil' miss may not want to walk...but she can be rolled.
About your period, you can take BC pills (non-placebo) and that will stall it, but only if you start and take it NOW. if you wait 1 or 2 days before its due and take the pill you can actually extend the length of your period. :(
