Help me convince my hubby-to-be!!

Here it goes. My fiance proposed 7/27/04 (my birthday!). However, we still have not set a date!!! During our dating conversations, I told him that I would like to "go away" to get married for economical reasons. But since we have been engaged my father says he will pay for our reception and his parents said they would send us on a honeymoon; this makes it economically sound for us to get married at home. Since I have changed my mind he feels that I deceived him and led him to believe that I didn't want a traditional wedding. It just makes more sense now to have a traditional wedding. Please give me suggestions as how to convince him to get married here in the presence of our family and friends!!!!!
