Honeymoon ideas for august???

We want to go on honeymoon on the 24th August 2004 for 2-3 weeks. Where is the best destination to relax in the sun with a hot wheather, white sand beaches and lots of things to see and visit but without rain or hurricanes ?

We don't want to do cruises nor go to the Carribeans nor to Australia and are thinking of Bali/Thailand/Latin America/India etc...?

Has anyone been to Seychelles, Mauritius, Maldives or Sri Lanka and liked it ? Would it be boring for 2-3 weeks ?

Re: Honeymoon ideas for august???

If I remember my honeymopon correctly, there won't be much siteseeing the first couple of weeks! We had a two week trip to Puerto Vallarta. Didn't even leave the room in week one and barley surfaced to eat and explore in week two. Even though we had been dating a long time, we were taking time to explore each other in our new roles as man and wife.

Have fun. The Seychelles are so beautiful! I would go there if I were you.

Wow! Seychelles sounds wonderful and definitely not boring! We're also planning our honeymoon around the same time to Costa Rica. It's breathtaking country and isn't overly developed. It'll be the 'Green Season'(rainy period) during this time frame, but it's expected and isn't a problem for us. Central America is certainly worth taking a look at.
