Is anyone doing a honeymoon registry or have done it. Just wondering how it turned out. Thinking about doing one but still unsure. Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

I have heard of this. I think Sandels does it. I would give people enough time to gather up larger amounts of money $100.00 + gifts to contribute to the registry. Also, You can FH can also contribute to it as you go along. Ask that future B-Day or other holiday gifts from friends and family be cash so you can put it directly into this registry...Its nothing like paying YOURSELF once in a while!.....I don't know anyone personally who did this. But I know a professor who is getting her family and friends together to set one up for a friend of her's that's getting married (as an engagement party gift) to get things going. I think its a great idea....as long as people who are often bogged down in the "traditional thinking" can be convinced to do that along with or instead of the traditional registry item at a department store.
I think Askalot did a honeymoon registry - and she just got married so ask her how it went! If youj do this type of registry I would suggest still doing at least one traditional registry as well for those that may not like the idea or don't have internet access.
Thanks ladies! I never thought about paying myself like that, Bumblebeekee. It's a wonderful idea. Just might have to do that...
FutureMrskeepup, I will have to ask Askalot how her registry turned out. Again thanks a bunch. ;-)
