That super man song by Soulja boy. I found out what it means to "superman" someone. I guarantee if you knew what it meant you wouldn't let any child within a 30 mile radius sing it any more and knock the teeth out your mans mouth if he went there.
Last Night by Keisha Cole and Diddy. Why oh why did they ever release this song. I thought this was his song until I bought Keisha's cd and was upset to learn it was actually her song and on the new cd.

First of all, I agree Umbrella is a hot mess... Second, Superman is just nasty, the radio always censoring something, that's what they need 2 sensor!!! As far as songs that I hate, it's gotta be all of the ones that come out from kids nursery rhymes and children's snacks... What they was feedin' lunch to the kids & came up with... Laffy Taffy, Peanut Butter Jelly, Do Your Chain Hang Low... Even Kanye surprised me with the Miss Mary Mac sample on one of his songs... When you get paid as much as they do, you can at least be original.

Yeah It started in TX and picked up big in Tampa, FL. My DH is from near the Tampa area so its big down there in East/Central FL areas. I didn't like chopped and screwed (After the late DJ Screw from TX) initally but it grew on me...I like it on CERTAIN songs...Some people from the south like it...but others from different parts of the South HATE IT! I guess the dragging makes the bass deeper, so people big on "systems" love it....
I guess I'm on my own here, but I really loved "Umbrella" when it first came out...lol!! I'm a little tired of it now, but I loved it at the time!! I really dislike any song featuring Akon. I also agree with you all about Soulja Boy, the song is terrible, and is or was at least the #1 song in the country. I don't understand that at all.
TiffyB, you aren't alone. I actually loved Umbrella also. If you can get past the hook (ella, ella, ella) and focus on the verses, it's quite good. I would love for one my friends to have the sentiment she is singing about. It's the perfect message for a friend when they need to know that "through it all I got ya back"
