I was at an outdoor wedding last year. It was held at the bride's paren't home. Her father let the grass grow a bit taller than usual, and the day before the wedding mowed an aisle, setting the cutting blade lower than usual. It was then sprinkled with rose petals before the ceremony. I thought it was very clever, and it looked great.
I have seen some pretty outdoor markers. This one is quite different:
Never disagree with a dragon for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup. If God made me in His image, I have more than returned the compliment!" - Betty Bowers
How about little topiaries. It would look amazing as you came down the asile. Not too tall so that people can't see you. You could stick flowers in them or other items that represent your theme, like paper doves or butterfly pics.
does anyone have ideas on what to use for isle markers for an outdoor wedding? thanks.
