JEWERLY

Hello all, hope you had a wonderful weekend. I wanted to see what you ladies could tell me about the jewelry that I want. I don't do necklaces, but I LOVE earrings and bracelets (have a whole jewelry box full of them) so I wanted some pretty drop earrings and a pretty bracelet. Because these are the only two pieces of jewelry I am going to be wearing I want them to be kind of noticeabl. Nothing too small, but I don't want big door knockers either. Do you have any suggestions where I can look to get something like this?

My jewelry rhinestone bracelet and earrings were purchased at Macy's. I'm sure you can find something there or anywhere in the mall.

Askalot you asked me before where I was going to get my bridal party jewelry and my tiara and veil. I am going to Manhattan, NY on 30th st. or 31st & 6th ave. That entire strip sells discounted things like that.

Soontobe, a good place to start is what you have, or something your mom or close relative may have and is willing to own. One thing we did was take loads of jewelry choices to the salon with us everytime I tried on my dress or had it fitted. Now some jewelry you just "KNOW" its right. When you find this piece, either online or in the store make sure you try it on immediately on your next fitting and take pictures to see how you like it. If the store has a great refund or exchange policy, its even better! Plus see if you can get your BM's jewelry from the same place:)

Good Luck if you have not found your pieces yet. I know your original post is a few months old.

THanks house. I believe that's where me and Bossie went, but a lot of those stores required a "licence". I will probably go back one of these weekends after the bridal party order their gowns.

My hair stylist has a "license", she goes to the city to puchase jewelry, hand bags, etc., quite often. Ask around you may know of someone with a license & are just unaware that they have it.

Hey Bumble...I have not found my jewelry yet. My bm's dresses just came in last week, and my wedding dress has been in a couple weeks now, I just have not had the chance to go try it on....I'm going this Monday since I'm off though to see both.....from there I guess I'll decide on jewelry...I can see what I want in my mind....just gotta find it...

Drop earrings

I don't know about a bracelet, but I know you can find some gorgeous diamond drop earrings from Hearts on Fire here:
