LOW HEELED SHOES

Good morning, I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find some low-heeled shoes. When I say low I'm talking 1" or lower if that's possible, but I still want them to be pretty. I've found some websites, but the shoes that came up were QUITE UGLY. A couple of reasons I want low heeled is first of all comfort..I'm going to be on my feet basically all day, secondly I'm almost 5'7"....my FH's 5'10"....with my hair all did up...the veil and shoes, I don't want to look taller then him on pictures and so forth....

You won't actually be taller than him even in 3" heels. His tux shoes will have a little "man heel". Usually adding almost an entire inch in height to him! I guess it is male vanity! lol. We just added some bridal shoes to our wedding mall. All designer. Guaranteed to make a statement at the garter toss!

Have you thought of wearing ballerina slippers? I mean those pretty satin ones or the ones with the crytals and beading on them. I even know someone who bought some plain ones and her mom put the beading on them. Just a thought... I myself had thought of doing that but I am already so short ( 4"11") that I thnk i need some height lol lol lol

Re: LOW HEELED SHOES

Thanks Rosetta....you have the answer to EVERYTHING lady!....lol...that's great! But it was not only the height thing (which was a important part of course)...but it was also comfort, that's where I'm hearing you Georgiagurl....but I don't know if I want to do the ballerina slippers. I mean my dress is long and you won't be able to see my shoes, but I want some sexy feet to compliment my sexy legs when we do the garter thing..LOL...so we'll see...I'll chk those shoes out Rosetta..

Girl go to your local shoe store, or the mall. I myself am not a high heel woman, however I plan to be one on that day. LOL. I am not going to get a heel that is too high but something that I feel confident enough to walk in. I am going to purchase some bridal slippers the same color as my dress and put them on at the reception.

Well you will be standing the longest at the altar. At the reception you will be sitting so I wore comortable shoes to church (lots of kneeling and standing and kneeling and standing!) and the sexy shoes at the reception. My wedding flats were beaded. You can see the toes peek out as I walked. My reception shoes kicked butt, because you are up close with people and they will LOOK! lol That surprised me a lot.

Also at the garter toss there were "oooh look at her shoes!"

I top Imelda Marcos any day! lol

Yup! Sure saved my tootsies. Housey, you should feel SEXY and comfortable on your wedding day, but girl it aint con' happen! lol. Braids too tight, corset cutting off your breath and the damn ring squeezing off all hope of circulation from your sudden 10 pound water weight gain that morning from stress!

But KNOW that you will look good! lol

Re: LOW HEELED SHOES

I choose not to look at regular bridal shoes.

I found a nice pair of silver flat sandals.

I have the same issue, my FH is 5'9" and I am 5'7" he loves when I dont have shoes on and he is able to kiss me on the forehead w/o me having to bend down. LOL

So and since the wedding is on the beach heels of anykind are out of the question.

Re: LOW HEELED SHOES

MzTajsia, have you considered that jewelry that goes on your feet? I saw some nice beaded jewelry that goes around your ankle, and extends across the foot and hooks on your big toe or middle toe. But it looks so pretty.....I know you have sandels, but You may want to buy a pair in case you get out there and decide against the sandels...They are so pretty on the foot. You can google it and can find some easily.
