Hello Ladies,
Until a few hours ago i thought that I had my wedding colors. Below is the link to my dress and I had planned on going with an Apple or Burgundy color for my girls... I want there color to really be rich and stand out. What colors will look good with this, just trying to weigh my options.

You could do burgundy and chocolate, that would be a really rich look and very pretty. If you look at David's Bridal look at using Apple dresses or separates with chocolate ribbon, I saw it and it was really pretty.

Burgandy is a very rich color in itself
Whatever you add to that is going to be very pretty
I recently went to a wedding who used Burgandy as the main color and highlighted things with a Gold. Not metallic regular gold, but a yellow bold gold
It was pobably one of the prettiest weddings Id seen just because of the colors
I will see If I can find some pics and post them for you to get an idea of how it looked

I love that color. Ive seen it in the store. I even tried on a dress in that color and it looks so good.
That price isnt bad either...I would go for it if you havent purchased it already.

I agree, the dress is beautiful! I think any color that you choose will "compliment" your dress because it is gorgeous!
Hello sistas,
Thanks for all of the comments. I will play with some ideas. I think my issue falls at trying to figure out what colors to incorporate at the reception. Burgundy is great but the gold is off from my dress. Does that really matter. Or just stick with Burgundy, gold and cream for the wedding?
My other dilema is the men. I dont really want them in black tux. But that seems to be my only option with the burgundy. This is a headache already.
I think i am just going to go with the women in seperates by david's in an apple color.

Since you are having a summer wedding if you incorporate creme as a color the guys can wear ivory...
Hey MrsReed - I'll post your dress pic here for convenience:

You dress is nice. I love the burgundy, gold, and cream but I may be a little partial because those are my colors! The apple red will also work, as will wine or claret, which are both reddish or purplish tones of burgundy.

MrsReed2bee, Lovely dress but you didn't tell us if you decide to have it in the Ivory/Platinum or Sand/Platinum?
How about Kiwi/Black ~ like this
Or perhaps this one? It comes in a variety of colors, including Kiwi and Merlot (which is a deep burgundy)
They're both by Jordan Fashions. Go to their website. I think you'll have fun with their color selections and their gowns as well.
