NY Get Together pt.2

I can do September. My only exclusions would be Labor Day weekend. Oh, did I mention my birthday is September 13th? lol I probably would not be a friend and if I do, it'll be Bossie. I could do a 2 day weekend. :-)

Niquey, I think you'll just have to pick a date, because I guarantee, there will always be one person that it's not going to work for. For instance, neither one of those dates are good for me. The weekend of the 15th works better for me.

I agree with askalot. Just pick a date. September is good for me. Askalot and I will probably come together. I'm not sure about spending the entire weekend. I could probably do 1 night. I'll still be a newlywed...might not go over well with FH.

If I was coming I would have to bring my kids - to be honest I just do not have anyone I am comfortable enough with to leave them here....September is back to school, I don't want to sound like the rotten apple but after schools fees, uniforms, books...I am gonna be set back a comfortable $3,000.00...soooo!!!!

Call me what you want yall but to me it seems as if our first initial meeting should be on a saturday. The day could begin with breakfast somewhere or brunch then something else then lunch, something else etc. dinner,a play or a play then dinner.

I think we should gradually lead up to a weekender.

I will be a newlywed, FH first time living up north, first time we'll be living together then all of a sudden I'm away for the weekend with sistahs I haven't met. I don't think that would go over well with him. I don't want to disrepect him.

I concur...go on the Saturday, meet the girls for a "Sex in the City" brunch and then go back home to hobby...I am sure he will not be upset, furthermore - Absente makes the heart grow founder.

Ground zero is a good idea as well. I've been there 2 times and each time was terribly sad.

Across from ground zero is Century 21 (a big dept store that has name brand clothes for a LOT less).
