Ladies, is it okay to open wedding gifts received months before the wedding?
We've received two from our registry and acknowledged them but we won't officially send the thank you card with our new names on it until after the wedding.
A cousin already sent me a bridal shower gift in case I get a shower. Should I open that gift now or what?

I say wait until your bridal shower to open that gift. As for the wedding gifts, send out a Thank You note. I say open them if you and your FH are comfortable with that.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone and that is why I save nothing - we (ex & I) opened our gifts (first wedding) when we received them and sent out thank you cards in bulk, we just recorded who sent what so we could have personalize the thank you notes. But it's up to you!
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
I could NEVER wait! lol My giufts were sent to my mother and I tore that house up looking for the gifts! I was allowed to open ONE then the rest after my 2 week honeymoon! You would think I were still a child! lol. But I sneek a peek at Christmas gifts too. Hubby waits until the wee hours of the morning on christmas day to even think about putting them, out. but lately I get mine from a mystery location after all the giuifts are handed out. ;0)
