Its so nice to meet all of you. I have a question - has anyone ever tried sending invitations with personalized messages to each guest? My wedding is next October and I'm trying hard to keep the guest list down to about 100 people. I found a great idea for a wedding invitation - a picture frame made of sturdy paper with the invitation tofit inside. Our photo would be printed to fit in the frame space and the wording of the invitation woudl be hidden by the body of the frame. So I was thinking that of just writing a personal note to every one on my side of the wedding and having my FH write personal notes to his side. I'm note sure just how much time this will take and my hand writing sucks so I thought of having a caligrapher do each message. I was just wondering what that might cost and how much work it would be if any one has tried it before.

Karenita1, I have never heard of this before. It sounds wonderful!!!! I have no idea of how much it would cost, but good luck. :-)

I have no idea of how much it would cost, but good luck".... the calligrapher will love you because it really sounds expensive for him to individually personalize each invite. I know this is what you really want but keep your options open.

There is nothing like a personal touch. Your guests will remember your personal jesture for years to come. I hope you are able to pull it off, I truly believe that we should have exactly what we want. I wish you all the best!!!!
