I just don't see the need, especially since we want our ceremony to be a max of 20 minutes if that. It will be blazing in San Antonio out by the lake. SMILE
The DJ will make the proper announcements to cue when things begin, but other than that, I don't want to waste the money or the paper!!

It depends on your preference, and what your budget will allow. My ceremony will be about 30 minutes tops, but I am doing the program. It is just another way to thank everyone for attending and those who played a part in your special day, another way to honor the memory of loved ones and friends who have passed, and it is a nice keepsake. Best Wishes!
Blessed be the Lord my strength ......
I agree with 2nd time. It also lets the guests know the line up. When what is happening. If they are late, how much they have missed.

Nikky girl, NO ONE should be allowed in after the bride. It's bad manners and Bad luck if you are superstitious! and eternallysacred You do not need a program. They are great for the reasons mentioned by Nikky and 2ndtime, however if the ceremony is brief, then what's the point? Save the money and upgrade youir flowers at the ceremony or buy yourself some sexy honeymoon lingerie! lol

My programs only cost $10 for 150 copies. All it takes is a little time. When my pastor finished our pre-maritial counseling he advised that I had a program for both the ceremony & the reception. Things will go much smoother.
