Hi ladies, i'm new to the site and i was just wondering how everyone was notifying the guest of where you are registered. I was going to put mine in the invitations but was told it was tacky...any suggestions?

Hi BG, and welcome to the site. I believe its a 'etiquette' no-no to include the registry info inside the wedding invitation. You're suppose to pass the registry information along via word of mouth. I've also seen bridal shower invitations with the registry info inside.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.

Hey there babygirl1180 and welcome to the site! I've been told that it is "improper etiquette" to put it in with the invitiations. I've informed my mom, Maid of honors, and Sister-In-law and they will spread the word. Word of mouth is the way to go!

I agree....pass the word along! The etiquette says to do it this way:)
It's an etiquette no no to put registry info in the wedding invites, but is perfectly ok to put it in the shower invites, since showers are to "shower you with gifts" anyway.
If you put the info in the shower invites, then the word will get around to other guests.
