Hello ladies, I am new to posting but read this message board on a daily basis. I have 9 more days until I run off and become Mrs. I am so excited, I could jump out of my skin. I have not told any family, just one friend and of course you guys. We both are not big on weddings and just want our day to be about us. I am sure the drama will begin once people notice my bling on my ring finger. Feb 20th can't get here fast enough!!!!

Wow, congrats to you and your honey. Ultimately, your wedding is about the two of you, and no one else's. Whatever makes you both very happy. No regrets. GO for it!!!
Congrats to you honey. Becoming a Mrs. is a very exciting time. I'm happy for you.

Sounds like an elopement. What are your plans?
Sometimes I wish that FH and I went away to a beautiful courtyard in New Orleans with just a handfull of friends.

It's a chore to have a big wedding.
Congrats Pinklady. If you can, try to video tape it. That way you can show others later if you like.

4 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!! I am all packed. Just waiting for Thursday night to get here so I can drive off into the night to be with FH.
Wow pinklady, this is the night before your wedding. How are you both feeling?
Wow, I feel like I'm in on a big secret. So his family knows, but yours does not? I'm in agreement that you should record it or there may be some hurt feelings when you get back. Best of luck to you!
These three remain; faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love. Cor
Okay I have alot of questions:
Are you nervous, anxious, excited?? Its almost time for your Big Day! Will you be living in Little Rock after you get married? Make sur eyou take alot of pics we love details and pics...... Are you wearing a dress or suit? Fill us in Honey:0)
You guys have no idea how much I envy this bride at this point.
An elopement is always good, but wouldn't be in the cards for me.
LOL This was when I caught word that some of my family members were bringing more people and I had it out with them. It all worked out in the end since a lot of hubby's people were no-shows.
I can certainly understand why that was stressing you out BB! Why is it that some people don't understand that who is invited to the wedding is exactly who is written on the invite and nobody else? It's like they feel a wedding is like a regular block party or house party or something instead of a special event...and even if you're having it at a special venue you have to reserve and not in the backyard, they still don't get it!!! They should feel special and honored that you are inviting them, but not quite, they think it's O.K. to add a bunch of people who weren't invited.

Girl, the aunt who brought all those people wrote an email saying how she loved my wedding and how it felt like a family reunion. *rolling eyes*
Truthfully, some of the distant cousins that she brought I was happy to see. But I could have done without one of them (who is just notoriously goofy) after watching the video: Just seconds before the ceremony started she pulled one of the groomsmen (my cousin) to escort her to her seat. This delayed the march a little and the groomsman with an annoyed look on his face had to run back into his place with a bridesmaid. It was a small incident, but still annoying to watch.
