Traditionally,something borrowed usually meant something to wear.Examples like jewelry,tiaras,or even a hankerchief.But in the 21st century,women do what want!Do your thing,girl!
So true Platinum. You can start a traditionf your own but it doesn't hurt to get something borrowed & something blue. I wore my mother's pearls. I loved how it connected me to her. She recieved them for her wedding day. Her whole family chipped in to uy them for her.
That's the right idea - borrow something that belongs to someone else...crazy story: My something borrowed at my first wedding was my bestfriend and her husband's wedding bands---yeah we didn't have our own yet.
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
[quote="nlbostic"]I am borrowing my grandmother's hankerchief. However, I'm sure by the time I finish crying all over it she won't want it back.

Does the something borrowed have to be something you wear? If so do you have to wear it on that day? Can it be something you use for a while or what?
Please help.
