Im curious about how many songs I need for the wedding. It is in a church. The aisle is average medium length.
I wanted to have one song (4 minutes) minutes to seat the parents. I wanted to have another song (4minutes) for the bridal party which is four bridesmaids and flower girl enter.
I wanted to enter on my own song. Can this work if I have the parents enter at half way through their song and have the bridal party walk slow?

I had a song for the parents and for the wedding party too. The bride's song is always different so it doesn't matter. I think 4 minutes is a long time to have your bridal party walk down the aisle though. Have them practise the walk to the song and see how you feel about it. Maybe you could have a DJ make a mix tape of the songs you want for your processional so that it is only 2 minutes long per part.

Can everyone walk down the aisle to the same song? I was going to have a traditional romantic song so I might just have the parents seated and the bridal party use the same song.

That is perfectly fine! That's how it is usually done anyway. What song were you thinking of?

Your idea looks great. You only need to practice it and have a rehearsals to be able to coordinate the songs to all the people that needs to do it.

@Rhona: She just jumped the broom, so I guess we will find out what songs she chose and how she did it when the honeymoon phase has died down some! lol
@Michele: I can't wait to see the photos and hear all the details! Congratulations again. Did you guys travel on your honeymoon or stay home?
