Ladies, everytime I think I'm past some type of obstacle, then here comes another one. It's nothing serious - your typical wedding stress, but dayum, when is my "Auntie Flo" going to stop playing games??? She comes over when she wants to, gives me signals that she's coming then she doesn't show up, etc. I mean I can't take this anymore. I'm really about to get on the pill to regulate this cycle thing 'cause I can't depend on it anymore. And I do not want it on my wedding day. I find my self stressing more than ever lately and I just can't stop that. Is anyone else finding that the stress is affecting your cycle?

Stress can definitely affect your cycle. I haven't had that issue because I'm on the birth control patch. My cycle is totally regular and only lasts 2 days -- i LOVE that!

Askalot the pill or patch can be a wonderful thing to regulate your cycle. If you want to be sure not to have one for your wedding you need to get started ASAP because the 1st month is usually irregular.
Stress can definately affect your cycle as Bama stated. Since I'm on the ring mine gets heavier when I'm stressed, but the # of days remains the same!
There is also a pill that can stop or clear up your period if you have it. I forgot the name of it but I had a period that due to stress didn't want to turn itself off so he prescribed this pill. I saw drastic results the very next day and the day after it was completely gone. My doctor told me that alot of people ask for it when the are going on vacation/honeymoon and it's during the time their period is expected. I was like wow, the wonders of medicine. There's a pill for everything nowadays.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
My cycle is dumb regular (thank you patch-which I HATE) i'll politely be getting off of it in time to get my cycle b4 the wedding, and then I'm done with it for good! I despise birth control.
But askalot, that sounds like that may just do the trick for the results that you need. Yeah, you may want to start now rather than later.
Thank you ladies so much for your suggestions! I am going to set up an appointment. Hopefully, I can start something this month!
LOL...I'm laughing because my cycle used to be JUST LIKE THAT. It would come a month....skip one.....come twice in a month......last for like 7 8 9 days...anything....used to DRIVE ME CRAZY! BC pills can definately help regulate it, see your dr. about what type you need to be on..and get started as soon as possible since your wedding date it approaching. It just so happens I'm on mine a week before the week of my wedding. I calculated that thing a couple months ago just to be sure....so it works out perfectly...
soon, you sound like me. I've been counting since April but it keeps messing me up! lol
