Surviving the Distance

My FH will be in Belgium on his birthday so I sent a care package to him. I sent one of his gifts, cards I handmade, and a double cd set with lyrics. I put the cd together for him of songs that moved me and the playlist is posted in another thread.

I send him a package to his home at least once a month. Sometimes its scrapbooks, cards, or other little things. I always include a gift for mum and our son there. I know it brings a smile to his face across the ocean so it is well worth the postage.

that is so very sweet. do you know when he may be able to come home?

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way. ~ Pablo Neruda

That is a very sweet and thoughtful think that you do for your family.I guess that's why he is marring you.

What a romantic you are! It will make your marrige truly strong. My hubby and I spent most of our dating years apart and it drove me CRAZY! With the price of our long distance calling I could have flown to see him twice a month. lol

I am glad to see you are coping and being so thoughtful.
