Hi everyone,
I just want to thank Rosetta publicly for the great job she's doing providing information for us on this site. I was so happy to find your pictures of tropical wedding gowns. I've been having the hardest time trying to explain to the florist what I mean by Caribbean Elegance - most people think of silly sarongs or grass skirts or whatever - but now I'll actually have some pictures to show them so they can understand some of the elements that I want in my centerpeices and bouquets. Thank you very, very much and please if you can find any more pics like those - post them. I'm still looking for my dress and barring Phenomonique I think I might have to design it myself if I don't find what i'm looking for!

awww shucks! Don't I know it! It can be so frustrating. If I see another Tiki mask I think I will SCREAM! Tropical can be elegant or FUN. So Choose your style and run with it. Don't let anyone stray you away. Have you seen our Tropical Celebration! Collection. Very tastfully done and keepsakes that will trigger a tear everytime you use them.
I am sure phenomonique can find you something stunning! Remember that a big ball gown will sweep up the sand as you walk, long sleeves can leave pit stains (don't fight it, you will be nervous) and silk will get ruined. Love ya keep planning.

Seeing that I am a Caribbean girl....my advice to you when thinking 'tropics' is bear in mind these 3 elelments SUN, SAND and SEA. Oh...and we do not wear grass skirts..well unless we trying to be FRESH, FAST and FRISKY [wink wink] with a significant other [lol] so tell them florist to get a grip.
